Doctor Who returning to TV with its midseason premiere and Chuck
entering its final season, we're guaranteed some staple nerd
fodder on TV this season; but, as usual, all eyes are on the fresh crop
of pilots from the harvest. Though we're still mourning what's been
chucked and shucked (Locke and Key would have been amazing, wouldn't it?), we must now set our sights on the spread on the table before us.
Everything I thought I knew about TV is wrong. Seriously. On Sunday, the two-hour premiere of Falling Skies
aired, and an alien apocalypse descended upon the fair city of Boston; I
didn't notice, but apparently 5.9 million viewers did. It's not hard
for me to think of reasons why this show was so off my radar.
Santa 8000 is the star of an animated web series, in which he must kill
hordes of mutants in order to survive a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
