But everyone beat us to it, so we'll just link off to the dueling Twitter aggregators launched by ABC News, the Washington Post (which launched two), and the Daily Beast. Now if only someone had a 5000-word obituary ready to pull off the shelf

While some are more active than others, here's a quick rundown of Boston-area clubs, bars and venues on Twitter, with an overall focus on those that cater to live music and dance parties. If we accidentally left something out, just add it in the comments and we'll include it in the next roundup. This holiday season, no club-going child should go @-less.

To be honest, I'm not sure what took so long. Sean Price is no technophobe; in fact, he was probably the first MC I ever saw write a verse on his Sidekick before stepping in the booth - and that was four years ago. Perhaps he was surveying the landscape; or maybe he just thought this Twitter shit should would go away, and that he could laugh at everybody else when so much hysteria eroded.

It's shaping up as the biggest who-dat local-music story since, well, Godsmack. Unsigned white Boston rapper SAM ADAMS -- unheralded by land and by sea, by British or by American press -- shocked the industry last week by debuting at the top of the national iTunes download charts. Record-label execs went bananas, rumors spread that the kid had somehow gamed the system, and flame wars broke out on the blogs.

Instead, she's experiencing simultaneous trainwrecks: her Ashlee Simpson-esque performance on British television's answer to SNL, in which she apparently forgot the words to her latest single, has (inevitably) become the talk of YouTube; and she's currently suffering the insult-to-injury indignity of an industrial-grade Twitter-account hack

Sure, we sent a "reviewer" to the Radiohead show last night -- WILL SPITZ went with the traditional pen and reporters' notebook, having won a last-minue inter-office Sumo match for the right to write the Final Word on the World's Most Important Band. The rest of us, being big interweb dorks and even bigger Radiohead geeks, took our cellphones and txt-chatted straight to our Twitter page during the whole show, thereby making us into total assholes.
