An error, or how our time machine broke
Those of you reading this week's "8 Days A Week" column can be excused for wondering if you had time-warped into the past this week. We erroneously wrote that The Real McGonagall at Portland Stage Company's studio theater had been canceled because of the illness of the actor. IT HAS NOT BEEN CANCELED.
Our office did time-warp - it wasn't you. The first time PSC tried to put on the show, LAST February, it was actually canceled because Mark Honan, the sole actor, was sick.
This time, Honan is quite well (knock on wood) and by all accounts doing a bang-up job.
We are very sorry for the confusion, and suggest you help us atone for this by buying your tickets to the show now. Seriously - Honan is a really great actor, and you should go.
