    Maine's first video podcasters, Mary Jenkins and Karla Preston, have entered the stratosphere of podcasting, joining the Podshow Network, home to some of the Internet's very first podcasts, including the Daily Source Code, by former MTV VJ Adam Curry, known almost as well now for founding podcasting.

    The duo's talk-and-comedy podcast, distributed through iTunes, is in both audio-only and video-enabled formats, which will now include advertising arranged by Podshow.

    The 1972 Les Paul Gold Top guitar owned by Matt Robbins of King Memphis has been stolen, along with the original black Gibson case, the original owner's manual in the case pocket, and a receipt from 1975 for the purchase of the guitar by its previous owner from Starbird Music on Forest Avenue in Portland.

    The guitar was stolen from Robbins's car, parked near his workplace, right next to the courthouse and a block from the Portland police station.

    A Company of Girls needs some more nominations for its annual Arthur Hall Award, recognizing an artist whose commitment to community has made Maine a better place. The award's namesake died in 2000 in Camden, after a long career bringing dance to schools, communities, colleges, and the public around the world.

    The group has received very few nominations and needs some more.
