How long
have you been coming to the Sil?
Four months. I had just moved here, and I didn't know
anybody. Someone told me this was a good place to meet people. Now I have
friends here.
You've
found that this, indeed, is a good place to meet people?
It's a good place to meet people. It's also a bad place
to meet people, 'cause sometimes those good people turn out to be not so good.
Hmm. So,
why doesn't every bar serve free popcorn?
Because they suck. There are a lot of places that serve
snacks, but the popcorn here is awesome.
Why
doesn't every business serve free popcorn?
Again, because they suck. That would be my definitive
answer to that question.
You're not
a fan of things that suck?
No, I do not like things that suck. I don't think
anybody does.
Since I
walked in, they've played glam metal and Justin Timberlake, and now I'm hearing
White Zombie . . .
You never know what you're going to hear or who's going
to play what. On Fridays and Saturdays, a bunch of people from Guatemala
play Guatemalan music and dance while they're playing pool. It's pretty neat.
