Romney VP Predictions? With justification if possible...

I've been saying since roughly January that it'll be Ohio Senator Rob Portman -- partly because he's exactly the solid, safe, do-no-harm pick Romney wants, and partly because of what I pick up as a reporter about what the campaign thinks.

I still think Portman's most likely, but some pretty well-informed people now think that Romney for some reason has started to lean toward Tim Pawlenty.

Almost every other name you've heard speculated, in my opinion, has never been under serious consideration.
