You're seeing it here first -- Ayanna Pressley is releasing this video today as part of her final push toward Tuesday's city council election. (My thoughts on the state of the race are coming in a post later today. Also, I'll be talking about it on BNN's All About Boston tonight.)
It's Pressley talking to the camera, mixed with violiny background music and images of her with various everyday-looking citizen types (mostly older folks, AKA likely voters) -- and one older photo with her mother, in which Pressley is lookin' pretty Chicago stylish if you ask me.
Strikes me as pretty effective, but let me know what you think.
My understanding is that the campaign intends to cut it into a 30-second TV ad (this is 1.45), but I have no info on the size of the buy or when it will start.
