Baker, Boehner; Boehner, Baker

This morning, on Good Morning America, GOP House Minority Leader John Boehner outlined Congressional Republicans' prescription for the economy. It consisted of tax cuts and lowered spending, with heavy emphasis on the importance of cutting government spending to reduce the budget deficit. Boehner also said that the single biggest impediment to economic growth is "uncertainty facing small businesses" caused by the taxes and health care costs threatened by Democrats in Washington.

If you replace "Washington" with "Beacon Hill," that's exactly what Republican gubernatorial candidate Charlie Baker said throughout last night's televised debates.

So, I'm a little surprised that it's 4:00pm and I haven't yet seen anything from the Deval Patrick campaign saying that Baker is using Speaker Boehner's Republican talking points. I mean, I've been too busy today to actually go through the transcripts to cut and paste the appropriate ones next to each other, but I would think the Patrick-Murray campaign has more interns than we do at the Phoenix.
