New In The Phoenix -- Are Dems Running Scared?

In this week's issue of the Boston Phoenix -- in print tomorrow, online now -- I have a column about the recent announcements that Patrick Kennedy and Evan Bayh will retire from the House and Senate, repectively, and the rumor that other Democrats, including Bill Delahunt, may be next.

My take? I don't think Democrats are running scared, but I do think we're in the midst of a turbulent and volatile national political environment.
