SCOTUS Opens Campaign-Spending Door
The Supreme Court has finally ruled on the much-watched Citizens United case. The bottom line is that business and labor will now have more -- but not unlimited -- power to spend on elections. The 5-4 majority (the four solid conservatives plus Kennedy) agreed that political spending is a form of free speech.
