Today's Massachusetts Papers, 4/2

--The Globe has a front-page story about Cong. Capuano's links to lobbyists under investigation, a month after I reported the same story.  Oddly, they left out entirely Capuano's close relationship with Jack Murtha, the Pennsylvania Congressman at the center of the scandal. In fact, the Globe article doesn't even mention Murtha at all.

--A better story in that paper is about the ongoing fiasco involving this summer's Tall Ships event. BTW, folks trying to get the state to pony up for the event have a Facebook petition page you might want to check out.

--Boston won't be the only city in the area with a challenge to the incumbent mayor, reports the Lynn Daily Item.

--The Taunton Gazette has a nice profile of the Bridgewater couple serving as lead plaintiffs in the court challenge against the Defense of Marriage Act.

--The Berkshire Eagle has some fun reporting on the first Berkshire Fools Festival, taking place this week in Pittsfield: "The mime, not surprisingly, declined to comment for this story."
