McCain's 4th Try

John McCain has released a new ad focussed on the economic crisis -- his fourth in 48 hours, by my count. This one is called Dome -- watch it here -- and picks up on the Obama=taxes warning from the last effort. The argument is that in an economic crisis, big government is evil; you can tell because in the graphic the Capital building expands to swallow up most of the Eastern seaboard. The phrases "painful taxes" and "skyrocketing taxes" appear on screen in big letters, and the narrator speaks of "Obama and his liberal Congressional allies." Then we see a baby who, we are led to surmise based on the narration, will die of pneumonia because his parents can't afford heating oil. The picture of McCain at the end is accompanied by the slogan "change is coming."
