CNN/WMUR poll: Dead Heat In NH
John McCain is tied with Mitt Romney in New Hampshire, at 29% each, according to a new CNN/WMUR poll out this morning. Giuliani and Huckabee are far behind, barely in double-digits.
Interesting factoid: 63% of NH Independent "likely primary voters" say they intend to vote in the Democratic primary. That's back up near the levels of earlier this year. It had leveled out some in early December (54%/46%). So, even with McCain's surge, Independents are shifting back to the blue side.
Meanwhile, the Union-Leader keeps up its full-scale assault on Romney.
For the Democrats, Clinton holds a lead within the CNN/WMUR's margin of error over Obama, with Edwards inching up but still well behind the top two. The other three are in low single-digits.
