Patrick's shocking corporate past exposed!

That's what I was expecting this morning, when Bob Oakes mentioned today's Globe story on Deval Patrick's years at Coke and Texaco.

But what did I get when I picked up the paper? Nothing much, really, other than the news (relayed by Frank Phillips, natch) that the Campaign to Stop Killer Coke is rolling out a concerted anti-Patrick campaign.

Will anyone care? Some of Patrick's hard-left supporters might balk at his willingess to make lots and lots of money at two companies that have engaged in some shady practices over the years. So might some undecided Democrats. But unless the revelations get more Patrick-centric--and a whole lot nastier--I don't see this being the issue that keeps Patrick from winning September's primary.
