WFNX Boston Accents playlist 01.02.11

Happy New Year! Last night I joined host Dave Duncan in the studio for "Boston Accents," WFNX's local music program that airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 pm. Things we learned: Don't ever label Mean Creek "country-core," as I once did in a national publication; the full run of One Happy Island's split 7-inch with UK trio Standard Faire is currently locked away in some storage room at Heathrow Airport, a victim of the ongoing winter storms terrorizing London; and lastly, there will be a big-ass feature in Thursday's Phoenix on 11 new-ish local bands set to break out in 2011. Many of them are noted below -- here's the full playlist, and thanks to 'FNX for having me on!
