VIDEO: Amanda Palmer, Boston Pops usher in 2010 with cover of Lady Gaga's "Pokerface"

Symphony Hall may never be the same. The Boston Pops essentially gave AMANDA PALMER the keys to the joint for First Night, letting her bring all her friends for a free-form freakout. Highlights included a pre-show, backroom uke sets and a mainstage all-hands-on-deck cover of  "Pokerface" by Lady Gaga, whom Palmer has recently been identifying with/defending in song. More clips after the jump, including a Queen cover, and small-room versions of "House of the Rising Sun" and "Making Whoopie."
