VIDEO: Passion Pit live at Miracle on Tremont Street

These guys again? Well, what can we say - it's been a hell of a year for PASSION PIT, and not to brag or anything, but we kind of saw it coming. Okay, fine, it wasn't exactly a difficult prediction to make: they won "Best New Act" in our Best Music Poll last year (earning themselves a spot in that year's concert), they became a blog sensation, and they packed venues around town all before their full-length debut, the delightful Manners, had even leaked in full. So what better way to cap off a year that saw them growing in stature on the national stage than a return home to play WFNX's Miracle on Tremont Street at the Orpheum with Spoon and frequent bill-mates Phoenix? Above, watch Passion Pit play "Let Your Love Grow Tall," one of the few songs from Manners that hasn't blown up. Yet. Below, frontman/mastermind Michael Angelakos and bassist Nate Donmoyer sit down for a chat with our own Michael Brodeur and P. Nick Curran.
