Esoteric Represents for MSPCA, Records Track To Promote 9/13 Walk For Animals

DMX and Snoop might forever be the rappers most affiliated with canines, but around here there's no denying that Esoteric is the rapper most likely to use the word "dog." His own pet Logan regularly drops cameos on Eso's Pterovision updates; the two recently shot an interview for animal planet; and the Labrador will soon appear on the cover of the long-awaited Saving Seamus Ryan.

So when the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals asked the producer-MC to spit 16 and raise awareness for the upcoming September 13 Walk for Animals on Boston Common, he dropped all else and hopped up in the lab. The resulting effort, we think, just might be the least-corny song ever written for a non-profit (sorry Sarah McLachlin).
