Harpoon Brewery 

There are a few events we can count on every spring to herald the approach of summer. The mass exodus of college students and their futons down Mass Ave and onward out of the city. The return of the Swan Boats to the Public Garden, shuttling boatloads of tourists in slow circles around the pond. Boatloads of tourists, for that matter. But our favorite might be the annual HarpoonFest at Harpoon Brewery. This one has varieties of tasty summer brews from Harpoon and UFO, live music, and tons of vendors selling food to keep us from getting too drunk.
