Dance Monkey: Bill Burr

Dance, monkey!
By SARA FAITH ALTERMAN  |  February 4, 2009

It's snowing! Time to panic! Must buy supplies! What are your top three blizzard staples?
Nothing, nothing, and nothing. You know, even when the forecast is 6-8 inches, that's not even up to my knee. Even if I can't drive my car because of all the snow, I can walk to the store.

The toy company Ty, manufacturer of Beanie Babies, is taking a lot of heat over its "Sasha" and "Malia" dolls, which are said to have been made in the likeness of the Obama girls. What would a Bill Burr Beanie Baby look like?
It'd be creepy. With a disappointed look on its face.

Your IMDB page indicates that you played "Jogger" on an episode ofLaw & Order: Criminal Intent. Was it difficult to prepare for that role?
It was incredibly tough. I had, like, two lines. Do you know how hard it is to develop your character — to create a beginning, middle, and end — out of two lines?

What's the most annoying thing you can think of?
That TMZ TV show. Nothing is happening! They're like, "Brad Pitt went for a walk and his sunglasses fell off! He's just like us!" And I'm screaming at my television, "Nothing! Is! Happening!"
