Party with the paranormal at these 4 haunted Boston nightclubs

Wanna get down with some paranormal personalities? For their Nightlife issue this week, our sister mag Stuff went on a wild ghost chase through Boston's wicked late-night scene. Here's a sneak peek of the four haunted city hot spots they tracked down.

The Brahmin American Cuisine & Cocktails
The new upscale Back Bay restaurant and lounge underwent renovations this summer, transforming it from a carriage house-horse stable into a two-story building inspired by Boston's brownstone swank. That's when staff say a shadowy suited old-timer started showing up.

Jacques Cabaret
The Bay Village drag show space is also, apparently, a haunt hangout for legendary Boston drag performer, Sylvia Sidney. What's more, it's rumored to be the site of a morgue set up after the infamous 1942 Cocoanut Grove nightclub fire that killed nearly 500 people.

Sacco's Bowl Haven
What intrigued the Syfy channel's Ghost Hunters to investigate Davis Square's 70-year-old bowling alley-bar? Much more than sightings of a deceased maintenance man.

The Last Hurrah
After visiting the Omni Parker House, America's longest operating hotel since 1855 and arguably its most haunted, you may want to shake off the spooks at its whiskey bar The Last Hurrah. Apparitions of the hotel's founder Harvey Parker and stage singer Charlotte Cushman are just two of several celebrity ghosts seen frequenting its halls.
