Boston Book Fest 2010 Podcast: "Crimes and Misdemeanors" with Joan Parker, Andrew Gross, Raffi Yessayan, Hallie Ephron, and David Boeri

As promised, the Boston Phoenix will be podcasting every panel from this year's second annual BOSTON BOOK FESTIVAL, yet another smashing success last weekend. (Don't take our word for it -- check the hashtag.) For those of you who were there, it's never too late to fill out your bingo card. And since it was impossible to catch everything, we're kicking things off with a panel we really wanted to see but didn't: a tribute to the late mystery legend Robert B. Parker.

We honor him and celebrate the release of Painted Ladies with his widow, Joan Parker, who is joined by Andrew Gross, co-author with James Patterson of six New York Times bestsellers and the author of Reckless, Raffi Yessayan, former chief of the Suffolk County D.A.’s Gang Unit and author of 2 in the Hat, and Hallie Ephron, the Boston Globe’s mystery book reviewer and author of Never Tell A Lie.
