Hallelujah The Hills release video, announce upcoming fall tour dates
Over the weekend, Boston's wicked smart indie-folk band Hallelujah the Hills released a new video for “Put The Gurus In Charge,” one of the finer tracks included on last year’s Colonial Drones album (Mistra). But while it’s helping erase this damning case of the Mundaze, unfortunately it does remind us of how much we miss Punchdrunk’s Sleep No More. The new Ja Hills video was partially filmed at Brookline’s Old Lincoln School, the site of the American Repertory Theatre’s critically-acclaimed 2009 interactive production.
Hallelujah The Hills also posted some photos from their recent Jah Hills Mini Orchestra shows with Titus Andronicus, with the promise of “audio proof” in the pipeline, and announced two upcoming tour blocks, highlighted by a free outdoor gig at Sept. 12’s Allston Street Fair alongside Three Day Threshold, the Indobox, You Can Be A Wesley and a bunch of others. That's A LOT of juice from just one email blast! Here’s the full tour itinerary, old-school Hotline-style:
