VIDEO: Bjork and Dirty Projectors come together live

So this seems like it was quite the thing: ascendant indie rockers Dirty Projectors and the still-awesome Bjork got together at the Housing Works Bookstore in NYC for a benefit show organized by Stereogum writer and Housing Works board member Brandon Stousoy. They performed together on song cycle DP frontman/mastermind Dave Longstreth composed specifically for the evening. Above, the beginning of this set, complete with Longstreth's intro. Dirty Projectors will be in town to open for TV on the Radio (Bjork-less, obviously) at House of Blues on June 4.

UPDATE: Dirty Projectors are also playing the Somerville Theater on June 18th.
