1. You guys know We Eat So Many Shrimp, right? We're on that site all the time, 'cause we like Three Six Mafia just as much as the next Satanic drank-guzzling white people. Anyway, Shrimps dude posted long-ish about our boy Brett Milano's book on record-collecting, Vinyl Junkies. They seemed to like it, sorta. We just thought it was funny that those dudes read Brett's book, because even though you couldn't find two sensibilities that are more at odds, well . . . like at record-release parties? Brett eats so many shrimp, for real! Y'all should get together over books and shrimps and whatnot.

2. The pages are off to the printer's, so it's official: Chris Lemon-Red Nelson is the newest addition to the crack Phoenix record-review squad. You can catch Young Lemon's debut, speaking Real Words on Mike Jones, in this Thursday's paper. Hyperlink action coming the moment it's up. In the meantime, we wanna give a shout to the whole Nelson clan for safe-keeping and speedy recovery; if you been over to Lemon-Red today, you know what we're talking about.

In honor of Mr. Nelson's forthcoming debut, and in light of the fact that he's got more important matters to attend to than posting mp3s for a minute, we've got one that we know he'd want you to hear, since he's the dude who turned us onto this stuff. Let's give it up for Phones remixes!
