  Beck wrote an intro to the re-published book “A 5000 Year Leap”, which no doubt is filling the Skousen heir’s pockets full of cash.  Beck who is also Mormon… well, it doesn’t seem to strange he would promote a fellow Mormons book.

  Cleon Skousen’s FBI files has few glorious things to say about Skousen, mostly they received many inquires on Skousen due to his embellished view of his federal career.

  Look like Skousen lied. Skousen never received training or worked in investigations into communist subversion. Skousen was a lower level administrator, and never worked closely with Hoover as he claimed, and never had the titles in the FBI he claimed, because the titles never existed.

  Cleon like his peer and fellow high ranking Mormon Paul H. Dunn both have been discredited on the emblements of their accomplishments as well as careers. Cleon books do contain many of the ‘White Horse Prophesies’ which many LDS people firmly believe in. That they will save the constitution and the political authority of the American government will be passed to the Mormon Prophet and the elders of the LDS Church.  For a look at Cleon’s FBI file,

  The FBI recently released over a thousand pages of Skousen’s file.  The FBI felt Cleon’s activities damaged real investigations into subversion, as Cleon filled his pockets with money.

  Consider the case of Sarah Palin and Joe the Plumber during the election of 2008. The mainstream media's coverage of these two was near comical in its zeal. Thanks to a liberal media, we knew more about Sarah Palin than we ever knew about candidate Barak Obama.

  Any serious journalistic research at all into Obama's background (such as his Pastor Jeremiah Wright's outrageous statements on America) were only brought to light, and ultimately commented upon by Obama only after those in the "fringe" conservative media reported on it. Same with Acorn, etc...any serious reporting on Obama simply will not happen with the liberal media.

  Then comes Mitt Romney, and his Mormonism. Since Romney is a credible, serious candidate, his Mormonism is dutifully examined  by the press in every which way. I can't tell you the almost mindless numbers of mainstream press articles loaded with references to Romney's Mormonism.

  The next conservative force to be reckoned with now is Glen Beck, who also happens to be a Mormon. Because of his surging popularity, and power to persuade, he must, in a like manner, be discredited and therefore stopped. The underlying point to Adam's article is that if we can only somehow discredit Mormonism, we can therefore discredit, and stop Beck.

  Adam isn't the only one. This article is one of how many now examining Beck and his Mormon ties?  I can link to many, and they seem to be growing by the hour! It's a feeding frenzy of the press to find any half-baked conspiracies they can come up with, and then tie them to Beck. If they can take a few shots at Mormonism along the way, why that's all the better. The liberal press would like nothing more than to kill two birds with one stone: Glen Beck and Mormonism --- at the same time!

  Any serious student of religion understands that Mormonism, or any religion, is much more than any one person, even one as highly visible and with obvious flaws as Glen Beck. This effort of the media (Adam included) to tarnish Glen Beck by somehow tying him to Mormonism is a sign of panic and weakness. If Glen Beck's Mormonism is such a threat to the nation, why isn't the Mormonism of Harry Reid an equal threat? Why isn't the murkiness of Reid's Mormonism a threat to the nation equal to that of Romney and Beck? Or, is Mormonism only bad when it applies to conservatives?

  One can only imagine the life story which will 'flash' before the deceivers who use religion to con people, and justify abuse by wrapping themselves up in their 'religion'. In using the term "The Church",  Rose your are saying it is the "only true church",then it needs to have their high profile people be more honest and ethical, remember it is Satan who lies and deceives.  Truth will out, even in the face of threats Rose.

You guys do a great job of 'bashing' when it is felt the truth might come out.  Obama is not the subject, Glen Beck and Skousen are, Skousen who misrepresented the facts and himself.  And Mitt Romney is influenced by Battlefield Earth, so between that and Skousen's teachings, there is one confused Romney trying to be president.

  Stop the paranoid defense Jeremy, get the Paxil pop a few, put your feet up and relax Jeremy. That Mormon teaching of Big Foot by Patton, promoted by Spencer Kimball, shows the distortions of thought patterns. Big Foot,sure ....

Rose and Merrill were on another website, and were continuing their remarks here.  I am not so sure you are all the "agnostic" claimed, the defense of Beck by attacking Obama is not rational, since Obama is not the topic of the article. The article does mention Romney and why Mitter is brought into the discussion. LDS interests will try to distance from Beck if he becomes a public liability.  Romney spoke about Skousen in an interview on the Jan Mickleson show about two years ago. Skousen was a professor of Romney’s at BYU.  Much of Cleon’s views come from the “White Horse” Prophesy, which many LDS church members quote and believe in, it is found in the article as Hatch and Beck have a discussion.  Beck will be thrown under the bus, if he becomes a public liability, that part is true.
