So you're getting a tattoo, eh?
We've been working on it since mid-December. It's a giant swan with a key in its beak. It has to do with some personal symbolism and a couple of dreams.

Strangest dream you've ever had?
I once dreamt Keith Moon was my brother. There was a Who gig. He didn't show up, and everybody was mad at me because they figured I'd know where he was and they were trying to get me to play instead of him.

What's up with Kat Von D from that crappy reality show?
I don't really watch TV.

Why not?
‘Cause I'm out doing real-life stuff like getting tattoos.

What's that like?
It's pretty fantastic. Real life is much more fun than sitting on the couch.

Best tattoo you've ever seen?
I have a friend who has an amazing portrait of John F. Kennedy tattooed on the back of his hand.

If you had to get any US president tattooed on yourself, who would you pick?
Andrew Jackson. By the time he was 14, he was an orphan and a war veteran. He was pretty bad-ass.
