[photos] Occupy Boston celebrates one-month anniversary
A small group of positively elated occupants jumped
around in the sun after weathering Saturday night's storm, passing out pointed
party hats and shimmering cardboard tiaras to honor Occupy Boston's 1 month
birthday. Some tried to teach others the electric slide while dancing to funk
music like Stevie Wonder and Jamiroquai. Others blew bubbles and played chess.
After a few short words from one of OB's newest
groups, "social club" -- it was time to cut the
cakes.

Eventually, a man who legally changed his name to Uncle
Sam came around distributing leaflets, and the social club decided to offer the
Boston Police Department officers on duty some of the extra
cake.
The officers smiled, and everyone exchanged friendly
remarks, but the police ultimately declined the offer, citing ethical
responsibilities.
