#StudentsOccupyBoston hold general assembly, plan for Monday

In anticipation of Monday’s Student Solidarity March, #StudentsOccupyBoston held their third planning meeting last night. Using the same process as the #OccupyBoston General Assembly, the students organized four working groups for Monday: communication, media, direct action, and logistics.

Northeastern student Victoria Porell tells the Phoenix: “It was a great example of how democratic decision making and organizing can be a tad frustrating at times, but if you maintain patience and an open mind, it can actually get things done.”

The Student Solidarity March begins Monday at 1:30 pm at the Boston Common gazebo.
