Meet the Mayor: OpenAir
Welcome to "Meet the Mayor," a segment in which we interview local Foursquare Mayors in
their natural habitats.
OpenAir
Punketta
Doilie
So you'd rather be known
as mayor of OpenAir than of multiple packies?
Yeah. I had a run of several mayorships of
liquor stores. I throw
a lot of parties - what can I say?
Why go to multiple
liquor stores? They all sell the same things . . .
Depends on which way
I'm coming or going for the evening's
events. Basically, if I'm heading into town, then I stop at this one liquor
store; and if I'm going the opposite way, I'll go to another liquor store. If
I'm driving back from school, there's another liquor store in Waltham.
How goes that whole "free
internet for everyone" thing?
. . . What?
. . . Do
I have the wrong OpenAir?
Yeah. We do project-management software. There's also a
portable-oxygen-tank manufacturer we occasionally get mixed up with. Happens to
the best of us.
Hmm . . .
Um . . . Soooo, while wearing your DJ hat, you
worked on a totally rad remix of "Straight to Video." What's Jimmy
Urine like
in real life?
I didn't actually meet him face-to-face. We just did that
remix for them. It was actually the label that sent us all the materials. I
guarantee he doesn't know who I am at all.
