Now streaming live from Harvard: What will Pakistan's US ambassador have to say about the Times Square failbomber?
The Pakistani ambassador to the US, HUSAIN HAQQANI, has been scheduled to appear tonight at Harvard University's Institute of Politics for weeks. (It must've been his Jon Stewart apperance -- see above.) But his remarks are sure to get a lot more scrutiny given the links between Times Square failbomber Faisal Shahzad and Pakistani extremists. (Sidebar: if it wasn't for Shahzad's wife, would anyone have known that Orkut was still around?) Haqqani is ostensibly at Harvard to give an address on "Pakistan and the US: War and Peace in South Asia," moderated by former US ambassador to NATO R. Nicholas Burns.
Haqqani's talk is scheduled to begin tonight at 6 pm at Harvard's JFK Forum, but you can stream it live on the internets at this location. (Warning: the JFK Forum is still lodged in 2002, so you'll need the Real Media plugin to view.)
