The Lion of the Senate delivers an impassioned stemwinder in 2007, screaming at his GOP colleagues, shaming them over their craven obstruction of a measley $2.10 increase of the minium wage.

"Do you have such disdain for hardworking Americans that you want to pile all your amendments on this? What is it about the minimum wage that drives you Republicans crazy? What is it? What is the price that the workers have to pay? What is it about working men and women that you find so offensive?!"
