Gary Shteyngart Blurbs Tumblr

Some intrepid Tumblrbloggr has begun documenting all the blurbs Gary Shteyngart has written over the years, thus picking up the gauntlet Shteyngart himself threw down in my own very revealing* interview with him last month. To recap:

PV: You seem to blurb every single book by young, somewhat cool authors! It's almost like if a publisher goes with a whimsical jacket design for a debut young novelist, that book will also likely be blurbed by you.

GS: Yes, that's certainly true. I do blurb a whole lot of books.

Now with The Collected Blurbs of Gary Shteyngart, you can see for yourself just how much Shteyngart encourages the careers of young authors. Not that anyone's asking (not even Kat Stoeffel, who wrote about CBGS in The Observer), but I'm not behind the new Tumblrblog. To be honest, I'm too old to really understand how Tumblr works, or how to make one.
