See this film: The Exterminating Angel @ the HFA

The Exterminating Angel (1962), one of Luis Buñuel's most bewildering and brilliant movies, plays tomorrow as part of the Harvard Film Archive's "Buñuel in Mexico" series. The surrealist auteur brings his entomological eye to a white tie dinner party where the guests, for some reason, find it impossible to leave. Scenes involving reversed table manners, a vase of dead flowers, and sheep are especially disturbing. The Archive is in the Carpenter Center, 24 Quincy St, Cambridge | Saturday, July 28 @ 7 pm | $9; $7 students, seniors | 617.495.4700 or hcl.harvard.edu/hfa.
