An accomplished documentary filmmaker, Rory Kennedy focuses her talents on her own legendary family with Ethel, a profile of her mother, the widow of Robert Kennedy. It captures with insight and intimacy Ethel Kennedy's life then and now, her triumphs and travails, her role as a matriarch and as a political activist in her own right. The director will appear for a Q&A after the film screens as part of the newportFILM 2012 Outdoor Sunset Series.
