See this film: Singin' in the Rain [60th Anniversary Event] @ Regal Fenway

Maybe what we need is a film as great as Stanley Donen and Gene Kelly's Singin' in the Rain (1952), which took a bittersweet look at the transition from silent movies to talkies, to do the same for the ongoing switch from cinema as we know it to the digitalized, CGI-produced whatever-it-is-becoming. The show also includes a video of TCM's Robert Osborne interviewing Kelly's co-star Debbie Reynolds, and it takes place at the Regal Fenway 13, 201 Brookline Ave, Boston | Thursday, July 12 @ 7 pm | 617.424.6266 or
