Already known for putting on one of the best film
events in these parts, the organizers of the Boston Jewish Film Festival are
also hosting the first annual REELAbilitiesBoston Film
Festival,
a series of six films from around the world about the lives of people with
disabilities. It opens tonight at the Perkins School for the Blind with My
Spectacular Theatre, Chinese director Yu Lang's poignant drama about a
man finding love in a Beijing cinema for the blind. The festival runs through
February 8 at venues including the Museum of Fine Arts, the West Newton Cinema,
and the Arlington Capitol Theatre. The School is at 175 N. Beacon St, Watertown
