Based on a F.
Scott Fitzgerald story about a guy who is born an old man (ouch!) and ages in
reverse into infantilism, David Fincher’s “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” starring Brad Pitt, has aroused much
interest pending its opening on December 19. But judging from photos from the
film released recently, the screen version looks like it might differ
significantly from the original. As can be seen here, the elderly, newborn
Benjamin Button is in fact no other than Karl Rove and in the course of the
film not only will he regress in age but he’ll also be forced to obey the
subpoena ordering him to testify to Congress, will be indicted for and
convicted of manifold crimes including treason, and will spend the rest of his life,
shriveling into a zygote, in a Federal penitentiary.
