[touring season] Beverly's Caspian announce 30-date coast-to-coast headlining tour

Beverly-based post-rock band CASPIAN had a pretty stellar 2012, hitting the long-winding road several times in several time-zones over several continents and finding September's brilliantly-crafted Waking Season (Triple Crowd Records) on several Year-End lists (including ours). Today the experimental/instrumental quartet announced a coast-to-coast headlining tour, and it's a motherfucker: 30 dates crossing the country and back, launching February 16 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and wrapping up March 24 in Burlington, Vermont.

After touring extensively with Cursive and Minus the Bear this past fall, as well as a handful of stateside dates with labelmates O'Brother and Moving Mountains, Caspian's winter jaunt finds them taking Boston's Junius for the first dozen dates, then Native the rest of the way.
