Some days you wake up and want to punch yourself repeatedly in the face. Other days, there's new RAZORMAZE to get the job done for you. The Boston thrash metal masters this week announced their 12-date Hell In The Cell fall tour -- which unofficially kicks off September 20 at Great Scott with Skeletonwitch, Havok, and Early Graves -- and posted the first track off their upcoming record for our ear-bleeding streaming pleasures.
Razormaze's first offering of new music since 2010's Miseries, "Slowest Death" is a crushing sonic ripper complete with gnarly-as-fuck guitar solo at the 2:20 mark. As for the new record, frontman/guitarist Alex Citrone tells On The Download that has themes centering around "the fact that we live under the rule of the elite and rich, and that we essentially don't care and can't see that no matter if it's Republican or Democrat, it's the same evil."
Razormaze's second full-length was recorded by Pete Rutcho (Revocation, Havok) and features artwork by Andrei Bouzikov (Municipal Waste, Vektor). Blast this shit.
