In other parts of the country, the notion of an ENDLESS SUMMER might be all about surfing. Here in Boston, it's about the dance party, and our true-school year-round residents perform a season-long jig across the city while the students are gone, gone, gone. The kids are almost back in town -- the smell of U-Haul is in the air from Allston to Cambridge, and tonight the Phoenix descends on the latter for an electro-pop explosion that'll find us riding high on the Middlesex Lounge's tasty waves of synth.

We've stacked the shred deck with a duo of band duos and a pair of Boston's finest purveyors of the mixed arts: Blippity-pop-a-lot pair STEREO TELESCOPE, who are readying a new album for release before the year's out, and the shiny neon-tiger prrr of YOUNG LONDON, our Class of 2012 cover stars who just wrapped up a summer-long jaunt on the Warped Tour. To keep the beat alive, DJ DIE YOUNG and LEAH V, who just got some love from CBS Boston as one of our city's "Best DJs," fire it up before, between, and after the live performances.
