This picture is of GRASS WIDOW playing to some gorillas at the Franklin Park Zoo, where they filmed the video for their track "Milo Minute." The dreamy lo-fi trio will visit Great Scott tomorrow in support of their new LP, Internal Logic (out today; now streaming over at Stereogum). I'm sad I haven't seen them live yet because their records are so dope, and because, you know, monkeys. Rounding out the bill are SHEPHERDESS and BENT SHAPES, the band formerly known as Girlfriends, in their first show with their new name and new guitarist. You can hear Shepherdess here, and Bent Shapes over here. Those who don't like rocking, fun, lo-fi, or lady guitar players should probably steer clear.
