Boston's Record Store Day 2012: Here's What's Going Down
This Saturday marks the 5th annual celebration of record stores (yes, they
still exist, sort of, in some places of the world) with special-edition releases, giveaways, in-store appearances, signings, and even a special in-store performance
by Brooklyn indie-pop trio Fun. (Can't get that damn brainworm of a
single out of our heads). So get out there tomorrow and revel in the nostalgia
while supporting the local heros managing to hang in there beneath the looming shadows of iTunes, Spotify, Pandora, and whatever illegal downloading
sites the kids are using to get their jams these days. Viva la record
store!
