DUSTIN WONG, formerly of the noisy Baltimore art rock band Ponytail, is releasing his sophomore solo LP on February 21, Dreams Say, View, Create, Shadow Leads. His solo jams are laid-back and intricate; Wong uses an array of pedals to loop, layer, and distort experimental tones and textures, making huge hypnotizing soundscapes. Here is a new video he released for the first single, "Pink Diamond." Atop a black backdrop, neon lights and shapes build into a series of prismacolor geometric domes that eventually explode and consume the full frame, flashing and spiraling much like his guitar riffs.
