[in belichick we trust] Jimmy Fallon as Tebowie
From the department of How The Hell Didn't Anyone Think Of This Sooner comes the hit-or-miss JIMMY FALLON hitting massively with his parody combo of the polarizing lightning-rod quarterback of the Denver Broncos and the Thin White Duke. The comedian unveiled his "Tebowie" skit and song last night on his Late Night show, and predictably, it's all over this interwebs this morning. We already can't wait for the footage to be included in Videodrome's 2013 Bowie Birthday Spectacular.
But seriously, David Bowie's birthday was last Sunday, the same day that good ol' Timmy Tebow upset those hobbled Steelers in OT, and it took how many days for this shit to come together? Hey 2012, tighten up your game. Last year this parody would have been on everyone's Facebook wall before Demaryius Thomas even reached the end zone at Mile High.
Regardless, props to Fallon, who crushes it here to the tune of Bowie's "Space Oddity."
Choicest lyric (and there are many): "I hear you're playing New England next week / Dude you're on your own / Brady is too good / And I've got better things to do."
Go Patriots. Let's end all this Tebow nonsense tomorrow night in Foxborough.
