• NAOMI YANG -- the Naomi in DAMON & NAOMI, and once upon a time of GALAXIE 500 -- has a new photography exhibit that we told you about this week. Here she runs down five photographers who've influenced her work. 
• We reviewed the latest AGE RINGS disc, Black Honey, back when it was self-released and a double album (and former Phoenix scribe Will Spitz was still in the band). Now it's been trimmed down to single-disc length and reissued by Midriff, and Luke O'Neil tries to find out why. (Sidebar: should we have told you the story yet about how Will held up a sign at Occupy Wall Street with his girlfriend and fellow-ex-Phoenix writer Caitlin Curran, and then Caitlin held the sign for a second and got fired from NPR? No? Well, you should totally read Caitlin's thing on Gawker if you haven't already.)
• We were so busy with Halloweening and whatnot that we totally missed Paul Foley and Mr. Jason's FRANKENSTEEZ. Worth the click for the photo alone.
