[live review] While You Were All At BMP

Allston was keeping it real at the Haunted Casino with a sick lineup of townies and one out-of-townie last week. It was practically a “Best Allston Poll” night with Fat History Month, DOOMSTAR, Skimask, Geffika (from Chicago), The Dirty Virgins, and Sunshine and The Feel Good Boys. Most of the bands stopped in between every song for a round of cheers for The Bruins. Fortunately, no cars were set alight and people maintained their sanity. Sort of.

PS – The Dirty Virgins are the newest addition to Allston’s garage rock scene, crafting surfy chords with Modern Lovers textures. Be on the lookout for a demo from these guys.
