Tonight @ Middle East: The Noise turns 30

Quick tip of the hat to THE NOISE MAGAZINE, which tonight at the Middle East celebrates three decades of covering rock around Boston (and a few years, in the early- to mid-2000s, of facilitating its stagnation and division by allowing unregistered "guests" to post freely on its vitriolic and hate-filled message board; so it goes).

There might be some free Narragansett passed around, but you definitely didn't hear that from us. Either way, buy Noise founder and editor T-Max a few rounds for his tireless dedication to the local music scene. He's a good egg.
