Together at last: Cat Power, Kelly Clarkson, Tegan and Sara, Carly Simon to play Boston Lilith Fair

We were praying for Rihanna + Loretta Lynn + The Gossip, but we'll take what they're giving: the Boston stop of the revamped Lilith Fair has been announced, and although DARKBUSTER presumably still won't be there, we will. 

The big names: KELLY CLARKSON and TEGAN AND SARA. The biggish names? CAT POWER and local gal CARLY SIMON, who presumably will either get each other through their notoriously awful stage fright . . . or team up to produce an evening featuring the world's most uncomfortable panic attack. Also aboard: MISSY HIGGINS, SARA BAREILLES, SERENA RYDER, ZEE AVI . . . oh, right, and den mom SARAH McLACHLAN.
