VIDEO: Wild Light's new song with the Killers and . . . Luke Perry?
When THE KILLERS recorded their annual holiday single -- a tradition they stole from R.E.M., but have made amusing use of -- they didn't forget their old friends WILD LIGHT, who opened a tour for Vegas's finest back when 2009 was young. Released just in time for World AIDS Day, "Happy Birthday Guadalupe" comes with a video that suggests they got December 1 confused with November 1. But all proceeds from the track benefit (RED)'s Global Fund to Fight AIDS in Africa, so don't expect us to call 'em out on it. (And yes, save the comments: we know that's the Mariachi El Bronx guys in the Day of the Dead makeup.) You can hear the Wild Light guys kick in on vocals at about the 2:40 mark, which is sometime after LUKE PERRY shows up in his best Brokeback Mountain apparel.
